Accreditation
The VR School has completed the initial accreditation visit by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), ensuring our commitment to educational excellence and continuous improvement.
WASC Accreditation
The Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) is one of six regional accrediting associations in the United States. The Accrediting Commission for Schools, WASC, extends its services to over 5,000 public, independent, church-related, and proprietary pre-K–12 and adult schools, works with 18 associations in joint accreditation processes, and collaborates with other organizations such as the California Department of Education.
Accreditation is a voluntary, ongoing process of quality assurance and school improvement that:
- Certifies to the public that the school is a trustworthy institution of learning
- Validates the integrity of a school's program and student transcripts
- Ensures a school is focused on ongoing improvement and high-quality learning
- Assures that a school's program is mission-driven and aligned with established standards
